Descripción: This course has established an excellent reputation for its breadth and rigor. It has links with Bristol's Watershed media center, including Study Days and Summer Schools. The course is supported by a large collection of films, cinema books, journals and a dedicated Viewing Room with excellent projection facilities. Several students have gone on to further research and teach sessions on the course. The staff are well qualified and the Award Leader has published widely in aspects of the representation of Masculinity in Popular British Cinema. He is currently working on a study of Film Noir and editing a collection of essays on contemporary European Cinema.
