Descripción: The research topics of the faculty of this Institute include the development of various photonics technologies and their applications. The applications cover optical fiber communications, optical display, optical storage, biomedicine, and other fundamental research. The research issues include 1) optoelectronics semiconductor, organic/polymer material growth and characterization, 2) optical device design and fabrication, 3) relevant measurement techniques, and 4) application modules and systems. Research methodologies include experiment and numerical simulation.
